last night

well jen beat me to the punch, but i always figure that's cause she doesn't have anyone under the age of 6 in her house :O)

so this is where we were last night. as many of you know, we had tickets given to us for valentine's day. for starters, we went to dinner at a new shindig in town called tusconos....i think. i can't remember the exact spelling. it's brazilian style cuisine where they bring a variety of fish, beef, chicken, veges, and fruit on skewers to your table. you can pick and choose what and how much you want to try. well, don't let the terrible/cafeteria style decor fool you. they do not disappoint on the main event. the food was fantastic. although, it's really not a place for a girl like me who can't eat her money's worth, but i definitely gave it my best shot. it was a great experience and the salad was bar was killer.
we got to the concert, just before it started, and got to our seats. just around 10 rows from the front of the stage. perfect~ as jen eluded to, jessica simpson is a less than average entertainer. i won't go into the details so as to not bore you, but if you want them, i'll be happy to fill you in! not too mention her tiny shorts and rump shakin...all while she reminds us to pray to god & that her dad used to be a minister! that's a good christian girl. wonder if she was "prayin out loud" on the set of dukes of hazard when she was slathered all over that car. hmmmm
rascal flats started their concert off with a bang. and i mean a bang...literally. fireworks, rumbling, lowered stage from the ceiling. awesome. just what you'd expect from the pros'. i'd say they know how to interact and entertain a crowd like nobody else. it was soooo good. i wouldn't be able to describe it and do it justice if i tried, so i won't. i'll just say it was worth every penny of my hubby's very hard earned money :O)
one last little detail. some of the "couples" around us gave rascal a run for their money in the entertainment section. ugh...seriously! keep it at home. the groping is enough to make you sick. well, anyway. the music was good enough to keep me distracted so i wasn't too damaged but what i saw.
so if you get the chance, and you haven't before, i recommend them...highly. it's a good concert with no worries that something inappropriate will happen.
thank you rob and rich for putting this together. you are thoughtful, wonderful husbands.
love you babe!!!!
