birthday celebration #1

i have to back a bit cause before my birthday was ry's. this post is a bit late i know, but i did not have picture to show yet. out little boy had his second birthday two weeks ago...so hard to believe. we did a jungle animal theme. so we had jungle juice, snake cake, and a project for the kids to work on. they all got to decorate their own toilet paper roll binoculars. too funny. especially the part when the boys got done, about 6 minutes after they started and the girls kept working and working, perfecting their art! adorable.
they got to put their "paw" print on the back of a little work book i constructed for them to take home. i'm sure most of it went in the trash, but it made it fun for them and kept them out of trouble for a bit :O) always a plus with my family!
i wanted to share some pictures of our sweet boy as he opened his gifts and had some dessert. the pic with his dad is the work bench that rich made for him. he and his dad built the entire thing from wood. he loves it and plays with it all the time. especially when he's having an urge to hit something!
