i love this place. no, i mean...LOVE! if you know me in the least you know i'm a sucker for color and pattern. i think i get it from my mom. we both love stationary, journals, paper products, and wrapping paper. but not just any kind. the kind that makes you feel like you're looking at a piece of art. i'm not a "hallmark" card kind of gal. i really hate to buy those. BUT a beautiful work of art, that just so happens to be on a card...i'm all in. the sad thing is i won't usually buy much of it cause i also happen to be a little bit of a tightwad. so when i first went to this store i realized i'd either have to make a mad dash for the door or change my ways.
i'm going to warn you. paisley roberts is terribly tempting and can breed discontent like no other. i can't hardly keep my hands off. for instance, their superfabulous collection of wrapping paper. the gorgeous choices of napkins. (yes, napkins) their beautiful christmas cards. their great selection of journals and books and invitations. i could go on and on, but i won't. i'll just say it's all completely to die for. but let me tell you. you will pay for that beauty. it comes with a hefty price and in my secret little world where i daydream about how i'd like to live, i'd lay that cash down faster than you could say cardstock!
so...i dare you to check it out. but be sure to leave your credit cards at home or go prepared to drop some dough and not think twice about it. i'm going to give you a bit of preview just to wet your appetite...
