tagged by erin...so here goes. (i'll admit, i'm not always the best at these cause i tend to have a brain fart when i need my brain the most)
1. in a life with unlimited resources i'm completely organic everything! i have a growing conviction about what i'm putting in my mouth that is gnawing at me every day to make changes. going to the grocery store is torture.
2. in a life soon to come (i hope) my dream would be to live on 5 acres, just far enough to "feel" like the country, but still close to all the things i love, with a beautiful country/cottage house that MUST include a huge front porch and back porch that is screened in. it must also have large trees surrounding, one of which needs to include a tire swing that my son can play for hours on.
3. i love to cook, create, make things. i just don't have enough time or resources to do most of it. so for now, i'm resorting to those i can do. sewing, knitting, canning, dehydrating, baking, and many other things. they bring me a sense of who i am and a peace knowing that i'm capable.
4. if there was one dream that i could make happen, i'd be a country singer, singing on the stage with all the great ones, faith, reba, kenney, shania, maybe even tim?
5. most know, but many do not, that my husband and i met when we were 14 and 15. he saw me and said he told himself he'd marry me someday. 11 years, and many bad relationships later and he still cared for me and asked my hand in marriiage. he's my best friend and the most incredible father and husband anyone could ever want and i am a truely blessed person because of him.
6. i cannot stand dirty, although my home does not always reflect this belief. nothing makes me feel better than a home that is clean (down to the toilet rims), dusted, vacuumed, organized, and picked up. it gives me a sense of calm that i need.
ok, one more for kicks. i love copper! i wish to have all copper pots/pans/kitchen aid/you name it, if it CAN be copper, then i want it!
