everyday i realize more and more how particular my son is. and he's only 18 months. oh yeah. he's got his opinions about the way he wants things done. such as.......
this morning he got his empty sippie cup off the counter and brought it to me requesting...bhoo bhoo (juice). i handed him, or should say i tried to hand him his other cup that already had juice in it. oh no, he wasn't satisfied. he wanted that juice in the cup he decided he wanted. so i poured the juice into the cup he'd chosen and he went on his way. i looked over and he had the cup upside down resulting in a lack of liquid intake. i turned it around and told him it was not the right side up. he looked at me, turned it upside down again and started trying to drink it with a bit of a smirk on his face. i shook my head and just smiled at this little wonder of mine. oh yes, he knows exactly what he wants, how, where, and when. there's no denying that. but it's not his fault. he's just following in his mother's footsteps. what i don't know is if it's a learned behavior or if it's in his dna? who knows. i just know the little independent, stubborn, yet sensitive, sweet, and happy child has so much of his daddy and mommy in him it scares me. but so far so good. and all i know is i'm crazy about him!

i am just wondering why you are so surprised... you are one of the most particular people i know, well, that is besides myself (wink, wink).
i got two of those young 'ens myself. presleigh will want me to change her sippy cup 4 times a day-and lucas changes his clothes anytime we come home from somewhere and after his nap!
it's payback for something i just know it!
