look familiar? anyone? i have to admit. i really love her music. especially this cd. her greatest hits take me back AND they are just good tunes. love the whole 80's 90's thing goin on. well, it's the background music right now in my living room. i frequently play a cd in the mornings. puts a little happiness in the house, not to mention my son LOVES it. the kid has rhythm in his soul. he will stand in the vicinity of the stereo, movin his little body, girating, stomping, turning his head side to side, adorable. that's my boy. i'm pretty sure he gets it from me. i've got music in my head 24/7. it's like it narrarates my life. so he can't help himself. i can't wait to get him in to some music lessons/classes to see what he has a taste for.
btw...a note on yesterday's post, about the cookies? just a little secret. if you, as many have stated, can't keep your hands off the goodies, my trick is i make the batter, bake one full sheet, then roll the rest into cookie balls & freeze them. then i send the baked ones, after one for myself of course, off with the hubby to keep at his office (he can afford those delicious calories). then when he's almost out, i pull another 8-20 out, bake, bag, and send away again. great accountability. i do the same with sweet breads and brownies. i keep them frozen and just de-thaw the portion to be eaten at that very moment. works like a charm :O)

I love Amy Grant as well. I haven't heard that album, but will have to download it to my itunes. I have background music playing all day in my classroom. It makes such a peaceful atmosphere.
i grew up with her. age to age, straight ahead, unguarded... the works.
i don't have the greatest hits. it's now on my list.
btw, great idea with the cookie dough. never thought of doing it that way.
Great idea in THEORY...I would just eat the frozen dough balls!
Is that what you call what you hear in your head? ;)
