now your speakin my language

i'd say this color pallatte could just about summarize 2007. ok, well maybe just the last four lines? who's with me? i know very few women who do not have some shade of these colors in their home, somewhere, on a wall, a fabric, or maybe just a vase...all i know is these colors have come in with a vegence. maybe they felt left behind ?well, they've certainly shown all of us.
i've always loved these colors, but never incorporated them into my home till about 4years ago. i started seeing more and more of them and started thinking...these colors say it all. they are calm yet full of energy, soft, yet bright...they lift my spirits. make me happy. they bring the outside in. i think that is why so many of us are drawn to them. i've tried to incorporate some shade of these blue/greens throughout my home. i wanted to cary their carefree, happy message in to every room.
SO, if you have not yet given them a chance, now's the time. who knows how long their popularity will last and then, as most things, they will be scarce and hard to come by...so gather, hord, save, whatever you need to do. personally i think they'll be around for a long time. there's just too much to love about them. BUT just in case....i'm on a mission.

oh yes. i actually painted a few rooms at my center/work those colors. that and this amazing buttercream/popcorn color. they are noted as 'soothing colors,' which totally works in a crisis pregnancy center, right? i love it. LOVE.
