that's some serious snow....that's just a little of it too! we spent this last thursday-saturday in mccall surround by foot after foot of snow. we were able to get out and enjoy the winter carnival (which i've never gone up to see in 30 years of living in boise!). we had a great time. it was amazing what people can do with ice!!!
the best part was just doing nothing really. something i haven't seen in at least 15 months. well at least not 72 hours straight.... we were privaledged to stay at a great cabin and we played pool, watched movies, played x-box, ate great food, slept, and just had wonderful fellowship. friday night was one of the highlights. as i lay in my bed, tossing and turning due to the ramblins of a "certain" group of people (i won't name names :O) i looked at my phone and it was 2am! then i heard some loud noises then laughing...laughing...more laughing. then quiet. ahhhh, finally! i thought. then quickly, i drifted off to sleep.
the next morning i found out that a few people (again i won't name names :O) were sleepless and decided to try someone elses sleeping agents. before they knew it they could barely walk and started tripping, fumbling, and were just completely out of it. i guess that was why there was such a quick silence to follow the noise. good times, good times.
anyway. we had such a great time. i really love the snow. it just makes me happy. something about it lifts my spirits. God knew i needed that weekend. thank you to jen and my mom for taking such wonderful care of my little one. the trip couldn't have happened with out you guys!
