have i told you lately...

THAT MY SON OF JUST 91/2 MONTHS IS WALKING? and has been for almost 3 weeks. actually, he's been trying to walk since about 7 months, but we helped him learn to crawl first. he would walk everywhere that he could, holding onto walls, ottomans, couches, people. i knew it was over a couple months ago when i walked into his nursery and saw him standing there.
he is such a little booger. he's VERY active. in to everything. but, i'm sure that is no different than any of your little ones.

i love this picture cause he will fall asleep with his little foot or hands wedged under the bumper like this. isn't it sweet?

his little smile lights up my life and makes it all worth it!
well, i hope that you had a great weekend! we had a busy one as usual. got to spend some time with my family last night. it's been a while because my eldest brother and his family were out of town for about 3 weeks. glad to have them back.
two of my little neices start school today! one is in pre-school and one in kindergarden (i think i got that right!) i cannot believe it. it really does seem like yesterday when they were born! aren't they adorable?


and they are two of the sweetest, most animated, creative little things!! they will do very well in school, as long as their teachers can keep them from drifting away in a day dream :o)
so for now...have a wonderful monday. i'm off to join the rest of the moms staying at home in a little catch up cleaning after the busy weekend.
