most of you will recognize the face in this picture, but some may not. this is Jerry Falwell. Founder of the moral majority, pastor of Thomas Road Baptist church, and founder of Liberty University. of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg of his accomplishments. he was a man of deep conviction and passion. and yes, at times, controversial. i mean, who can forget the tellitubbies or 911 remarks. yes, you either know him or you don't, you love him or hate him, you agree with him or you fight against him. but one thing can always be said of Dr. Falwell, he lived what he believed. he was not afraid to stand up to the best of them. & i believe God blessed him. you cannot look at all he's done and not recognize god's hand. i always say, if our ever move and word was being watched and posted all over the news, web, and paper, how many of us would be digging our own graves? i respected who he was and what he did for this country and for christians.
God gave him a long life and now he can be with the very savior he fought so hard for. he will be missed and remembered for ages to come. thankyou!
