ugh. you know...i have no excuse to not post. we've been indoors moor than every lately. i just seem to still be busy. not to mention tired. this weather makes me want to sleep.
anyway. just thought i'd let you all know a fun little excursion for your family, if you don't already know about it. alisha told us about it last year and we have had a great time both years. there's a house down off state street that puts on an entire light show to music. it's very good and they have a radio station you can tune in to to hear the whole thing. very well thought out and lots of fun. so here's the directions
from state street head north on piere park (which is east of glenwood about a mile or so)
go just past hill road & look for parapet st. you'll go right on parapet. drive to the end of the street and it'll curve to the right and you can see the show going on. you just need to park in the middle of the culdesac so as not to block anyone from getting into their driveway. i think it goes from 6 - 10 or so on a loop. like every 15-20 mins or so. there's narrrations, jokes, singing, and music. i believe it is every night cause we went tuesday and it was going on.
