for all of you who read this and were at retreat... i love you and thank you for making my weekend so wonderful. becky and kay did such a wonderful job at giving us an opportunity to hear from the lord through their transparency and love. i know they wanted so badly for us to feel filled up and ready to face life as we came home and i'd say they were successful. i was challenged and encouraged in the word and know that i met with my savior up there.
the fellowship itself was almost as nourishing as the messages :O) and i was needing it! so often i feel like i don't get enough time to spend with women i'd really like to get to know. it seems like most of my time is wrapped up with family, ministry, and a few outings here and there with my best friends, which i'm soooo grateful for, but rarely do i seem to have time with girls i really adore, admire, respect, and just plain enjoy. i guess that's because there are too many of you! if only i could multiply myself about 10 times, then i could do it! i could spend time with all of you. and oh how much wiser i would be for it! i will say, i'm very thankful for these blogs! otherwise i feel like i'd never get to know some of you at all. so for now, and i'm sure i'll leave a few out, i just want to tell kimberly, stacey, sheila, chanda, aubrey, nicole, amanda, debbie, cindy, cheryl, heather, katie, laurel, (laurel's friend whom i cannot remember your name right now) and some that i'm sure i'm just plain forgetting, just how much i enjoyed talking, laughing, & sharing with you. and for some of you....getting to see a different side of you that i'd never had the pleasure of knowing :O)!
what a joy you all are. you are uniquely gifted and special daughters of the king. i hope as the years go by, we'll grow in our love for jesus together. we ARE better together and even though i'm not necessarily intimately involved with each of your lives, i AM committed to you and being here for you. so may i close with saying.....
GIRLS ROCK! (and that goes to and for all of my other beautiful friends who were unable to join us! you know who you are and i adore and love each of you too!!!! you were truly missed)

Thank you for your kind words, Stephanie. I had such a blessed time at retreat. It was so relaxing and sweet. Just preparing for the sessions just about "did me in". My cup is definitely overflowing, and in no small part because of you and all the lovely women you mentioned. The music was nothing short of awesome!- Becky
