this is the song scott is singing this weekend. i have the privaledge of singing back up on it. when we started to practice weds night, i admit, i'd come in from having a bad day. one that in all honesty, just left me wanting to be angry. angry at some things that have been going on for what seems forever. i've felt overcome and at times forsaken. as we began to sing, i started to really look at the words. my eyes filled with tears and my heart broke. this is exactly where i've felt in regards to some circumstances in my life lately. but i found hope in that God would see fit to give me this song this week. he's gracious and powerful and loving and eternal. and i know he cares for me and he will bring us through our storm. so Lord, thank you and i want the world to know that i choose you... no matter what and you alone deserve all glory, honor, and praise. so i'll "praise you in this storm."

i lvoe that song. looking forward to hearing you sing it. the words are so powerful. i was going through a thing not too long ago and that song came on the radio and it broke me. we have to choose to praise him through it or we will become bitter. lift your eyes to the hills girly.
Thanks for singing it with me & for being authentic on Wed. night! I love that!! Thought you did a great job & I had several folks tell me this morning how much it meant to them. I KNOW there are alot of folks going thru "it" right now & I would imagine that song will be a beacon for many folks. It's always a privelege to sing alongside you!
I have to admit I almost teared up during that song several times this weekend. Very good job.
i'm praying for you. i know you have been going through "it" for a long time. you have been such a warrior for me i would love to be that for you. i'm always available if you need to talk.
you did great this weekend. i have been in the same spot, singing a song that about what i have been going through "this day". boy, it gets real and personal when you are singing a song about the power and promises of God.
you are one of the strongest and authentic people i know. a real example of someone walking the walk. i love you very much and am very grateful for the times you've saved my life... emotionally and spiritually.
Your duet was beautiful and powerful. Thanks for being real- that encourages others, too! Praying for you...
