ever get the ache to paint? i don't so much get the ache of the process of painting, but the end result. i love change. i change my furniture around at least once a month. and lately i've really been wanting to do some stuff to my house. problem is, we are moving in the next month or so and still are not sure where we'll be, so i can't really start projects, at least not on the walls. what i CAN do is paint my own furniture. there are a couple items that i've had ideas brewing for a while now but haven't had the time to do it. i can always start a project, but then finding time to complete it is another story. during the week is out of the question, due to the fact that i have a 16 month old that is constantly under my feet and is down to about a 2 hour nap a day (if i'm lucky) so projects like that just can't happen. weekends fill up too fast and before i know it, months have passed and nothing's been done. SO i've enlisted a friend. i very talented friend at that. she's great and she's willing to help me bust the project out one afternoon. so i'm gettin a sitter and i'm gettin it done. i KNOW i will be sooooo happy once it's completed. i'll post before and after pictures. i'm very excited for the outcome.

Oh i love before and after's. can't wait. i didn't know you were moving. where to?
Can't wait to see! I - like you - love change. I just don't always have the options of changing around our big furniture at this point in time - so if I can change the smaller stuff that helps.
But I'm wanting to paint too - love the end result - it's worth the hassle!
What a nice friend! ;)
