what a week...

busy as ever around here.

this week has been crammed full. last week seemed as full as it could get, but this one will definately out do the last. monday, thankfully was quiet at home. (at least i think :O) tuesday night a group of us went out to celebrate a sort of bachelorette party for my best friend amanda and her fiance steve. we started with dinner and planned to do some cosmic miniature golf, but it was closed so we moved on to a little bowling competition. thanks to jess and skye, we beat the boys and actually, jess got high score, steve second, and skye third. then there was me, down in the 80's (yeah i know i suck) but amanda had us all beat with her high score of 65! this was the genious of strike, gutter ball, strike, gutter ball....and that's how she pulled it off! we ended at the ram for some D-licious sweetness. always a good end to a good night
this morning my brother pulled off a huge surprise (even better than he'd anticipat
ed) for my sister in law for her 35th bday (which is actually tomarrow). he surprised her at breakfast this morning by her parents being at the table. they'd flew in the night before. little did he know that there was an even bigger surprise in store. i will not disclose. i will let her do that. check out her blog over the next few days. i'm sure she will give you the full story. (see "beth" under links down on the right side of my blog)
tonight we are on to the rehearsal dinner for my friend. that should be fun. it is actually going to be a large group including my parents. i'm really looking forward to that.
tomarrow morning we decorate. it is going to be classical and beautiful. just like amanda. her best friends are mine so this has been a complete treat to be with all of these gals all week, day after day. in the afternoon we will do pictures and then on to the wedding. it's going to be far from traditional and we are not actually traditional bridesmaids. we are more like honorary. she will have us listed as the wedding party, but thankfully there are no bridesmaid dresses to be worn, no walking down an aisle, and no standing for hours on end. just us, supporting her, all while sitting in the comfort of our chairs at our tables. i will post details and pics aferwards.
the friday and saturday hold even more but i'll wait to post about that. right now, my son is finally down for his nap and mama's got to get in a work out and shower before he awakes. hope you are having a wonderful week so far and stay in touch!

I can't wait to see the pics of Amanda's wedding! I'm so happy for her. And I'm happy for Beth too - what a neat thing...
