the other night, after returning from our friend's wedding, we got this report from ry's grandma who watched him for the evening.
she said he'd been great all evening. this was my first surprise because he'd had less than 9 hours of sleep the night before and only a 45 minute nap (i think). so i was glad to hear such good report. she said around 8pm he began to rub his eyes. she asked him if he was ready to go na night's? he made a motion to acknowledge and ran over to the gate at the bottom of the stairs. she asked him if he wanted his ba ba first. so he waited. she let him crawl up the stairs and he went straight into his room, over to the rocker, and started patting the seat while looking at her. so she picked him up, gave him his bottle while she rocked him. he finished it, sat up, and looked at her. so she got up and put him in his crib. he curled up into a little ball and she said he never made a peep. he slept till 7:30 the next morning! who's child is this???? he's the most inconsistant sleeper ever AND he never is THAT easy to put down. he's usually good, but never motioning on his own.
maybe grandma should come put him to bed more often?
