lookin back, but just for a minute

things have been so busy here lately. i just had to post these pictures. they are all places i've been so they make me relax, take my mind off the pressures, schedule, list of to dos.... and just let my mind wonder back. i absolutely love to travel....i mean L O V E... unfortunately the last real trip/vacation we had was before i had rds, about two years ago, to mexico. it was so nice. i was about four months prenant (showing just enough to look fat, not pregnant :O) since then we've had a few weekend get aways with family to mccall, but i wouldn't put them anywhere near the same category. since november, starting with my boys first b-day, things have been a whirlwind. so many parties, get togethers, and events i couldn't even count. until about april, it doesn't really stop. don't get me wrong, they are incredibally wonderful things, family bdays, baby showers, wedding showers, great parties, weddings, new babies....just all compiled into a very small amount of time. so today i am just taking a moment to breath. take it all in. i don't want to miss any of it. i want to savor these memories. last night we surprised my brother for his 35th and it was perfect. he played right into our hands. the night was full of food, cake, good fellowship, topped with a minor injury to a child....i'd say the evening was a success :O)... props to my sis-in-law for pulling it off. we have two more parties and a shower this week and then we'll be on to the rest next week with five events (yep that's tuesday through sat).
i hope things are wonderfully full for the rest of my bloggin buddies and that the pictures above can bring you a smile.
talk at ya soon.

They brought me a smile because I recognize a couple of 'em! :) Precious memories.
I haven't travelled (other than to Oregon) in awhile either but this summer we are planning a drive across the US. I am SO excited!
