a little catching up...

so i'm sorry about the long period of nothingness...i don't even know how many of you check anymore. but i have not been able to load pics up on my pc so i have not wanted to post about events recently since i couldn't share pics. so i'm just gonna summarize then show a few pics i happen to have.
i know that you all know my boy had his first haloweent this year. he was a puppy and he looked soooo cute. i have yet to get those unfortunately. maybe some day. he had fun running around in the hay maze. that's where we spend most our time (especially since his grandparents were manning it and handing out handfuls of candy :o)
just about a week later he had his first birthday. it was a great sucess. lots of close friends and family packed in like sardines. we ate, and ate, and then watched a great video my hubby made for the party of his first year. i too will post that eventually. then we watched as madness occurred. the opening of presents. he didn't really get it but he did his best. then all of a sudden all the neices and nephews went crazy and started throwing/diving/falling into all the wrapping and tissue paper. it was nuts.
after it was all cleaned up we stripped down the boy and let him at his skin (which rich and i made ourselves) he was a little unsure at first, but once a bit of that chocolate touched his lips, he new what he needed to do and in it went...
thanks to my dear friend alisha... he got cleaned up like brand new. shiny and bright. he came down to see everyone off. after things were quiet again we let him play with his new toys. he just loved them all.
so again...thank you soooo much for all the sweet gifts.
