thank you for your patience! I have not meant for it to get this far away from me, but i still do not have the pics from the meet and greet or the concert. those are on my mom's pc, so i will be posting again with more details about that. but for now, i wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for voting...some of you numerous times!
the concert was amazing. rich and i had such a good time. we could not have gone had it not been for all of you. i will be honest and tell you that the "block party" is almost not worth mentioning. oh wait? there was a block party? well, at least that was what we were told, but had you been an onlooker, making your way to the concert, you would have wondered what the heck the handful of people that were there were doing. there was no advirtising, no stage, no banners, nada!!! ktrv totally dropped the ball. it was actually very embarassing. i hate to even tell you that after all you did and hoped for. but it was almost a joke. something got lost in translation along the way or we were fooled. BUT faithfully my parents, husband, sister in law, and good friend stood by my side anyway (as much as they probably wanted to run and hide for me :o). i wanted to stick my head in a hole! BUT instead i lifted it and sang my song with all my might. i will say that at least i got to sing some country. that is what i really love and never have the opportunity to do. so again. thank you very much because it WAS worth it all to be able to go to the concert! as i said, i will post some time next week when i return from a little trip to TX with my mom. that will be the post you'll want to see! lost's of great pics of the idols themselves and during performance!
FYI! for all you Blake Lewis fans... he did tell me that he and Chris Richardson are working on his first album, in which they are writing some songs for and are performing a song or two together. it will be available the tuesday before Thanksgiving so mark your calendar because after seeing the two of them perform i know it will be a great album, worth every penny!

hey! i'm so glad that you had such a wonderful time and it was a nice little date for you and rich. something you will always remember! i just saw on jen's blog that ramsey had puppies!! how exciting! was it with dutch? how much are you selling them for???? i have been begging ben for a puppy for a long time, but i don't know if he'll budge. well, hope they sell quickly for you guys! love you!!!
