so a week from today, one of my best friends from college, Janell (yes, the one in the middle...dicslaimer: this is the ONLY picture i have of her on my pc!) will be here to stay for 5 days. it's short, but it will do. i have not seen her in over two years and since we left virginia, five years ago, i have only seen her three times. so, needless to say, i am very excited. she's one of those friends that no matter what, we will always start where we left off. for two years she was in thailand as a missionarry working with prostitutes through the tamar center. now she's back in flagstaff where she's going to open a salon. yes, she's a fabulous hairstylist and she's wonderfully unique and eclectic. i love her and miss her so much and am beside myeself to see her. i hope those of you that live here will have the chance to meet her. she's a breath of fresh air and will leave a deep impression that will makes her unforgettable.

I'm sorry we won't be there to see her. I know that you will have a ball with her catching up and playing with Rykon. See you soon.
I am so sorry that I will miss her. Make yourselves at home at my house, the pool etc while she is in Boise. Tell her if I was there I would spoil her and take her shopping.
if you do hair call me since you didn't last time she was here. no hard feelings and i'm not bitter. well maybe a little. just a smidge. but call me. seriously. call me. ok? good.
you will have a blast. she will get to see your new home and your beautiful baby. i would like to be included too.... you know maybe get the "girls" together, go eat downtown, and hang out talking without any kids. sound good to you? no pressure... really.
have so much fun with Janelle!! She was a blessing to me when I was in Asia. Tell her I said hello and hope she is doing well. Hope you are doing well too. Give Rykon kisses for us. Love you
