guess what?????

ok so if some of you remember, i posted about this tv cabinet a while ago (i posted the picture of the second one but it's actually the first picture, but in the torquoise color)
anyway...so i just had to share what happened today.
my mom called and asked me if i knew that the store i'd seen it in was going out of business? i said yes, but hadn't gone for the sake of not being tempted to buy. well, she said that the only piece of furniture left was this cabinet. it was the floor model. it had finally been marked 75% off the original price (and it was spendy!!!) the gal at the store said that more people had showed interest in that piece than anything else, but for one reason or another, they all had to talk to someone first before they could buy it. she thought it was strange that it had not sold yet. they weren't planning to mark it down that much, but it had to go. my mom immediately said, "well, that is because my daughter is supposed to have it. she's wanted it for almost a year now, but could not afford it." she said she couldn't reach me at first, so she called rich w/high hopes that he would say yes. when she got ahold of him and he heard the price he of course said ok (cause that's the wonderful hubby that he is) i cannot tell you all how excited i am. it's an unexpected gift from god and i'm soooo greatful. like christmas morning. i feel like a kid. i guess cause it's the first real piece of furniture that i've seen, fallen in love with, and then purchased. it's actually only the third (minus the nursery) piece of furniture rich and i have bought since we've been married. thank you babe. this meant soooo much to me.
