to see the world

seeing the world is a lifelong goal. i have many places i have to see before i die. one is italy and thankfully i was able to mark it off my list in the summer of 2005. it was the most wonderful place i've been yet. i've seen many countries on several continents, but so far, nothing compares to the beauty and history italy offers (although i will say the cayman islands are a close second). it takes your breath away. the history alone is unbelievable. thought i'd share just a couple of pictures. the first is in Sienna, the second is the colluseum in Rome, the third is a place called the cinque terra. you hike about 7 miles along cliffs where 5 little towns sit out on plateaus overlooking the ocean. it's beautiful. the fourth is in front of the duomo in Florence. all i know is one trip was not enough. i have to go back.

1st of all how come Chrissy doesn't ask if that is me in the pics? I want some love to Chrissy!
Anyways Italy is a very beautiful place, one in which I plan to return. You really need to spend a minimum of 10 days or more to really soak up the culture alone. The history aspect and the beauty of the terrain were really what captured my attention. We will plan to go back sooner than later!
