just a side note...

i totally forgot to mention the fact that my hubby was at the fiesta bowl game, seven rows up from the field, in the corner where Ian Johnson scored the two point conversion in overtime that won the game. he said that words would not do justice to how exciting and amazing it was to be there in the middle of it all. the truth is, he was literally part of some college football history and idaho history for that matter. this game was big, really big, and i'm so glad he was there to stake his claim on a part of it... no matter what it cost (money and 30+hours of driving). also, for clarification purposes, marty scored one touchdown and had a touchback. my bad. either way, his performance was awesome. the guy is like an athletic genius. he is also an amazing baseball player and golfer for those of you didn't know. but don't worry, he's just as down to earth and goofy as the rest of us...
