I was at Costco today and it brought back feelings of fondness. I will admit that I really love Costco. If I could, I'd do all my shopping there. I love the variety, the one-stop-shop...meet all your needs idea, the produce, the meat, the bakery, and of course...like any good American, the free samples! I could spend a whole day in there. I'd start in the morning, break to re-fuel w/a jumbo dog and drink for a $1.50, and get back out there. I'd just once, love to go in, get everything I could possibly need (grocery wise) and drop around 500.00. That would be alot seeing as how it's only Rich and I (and a little munchkin). They also always have unique things that make great gifts. So I guess you could say i'm a junkie. That's why I keep my distance. And since we've found ourselves in the poor house lately, we haven't been there at all. Too much temptation to buy stuff we don't need.
I'm sure a few of you can sympathize. Grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do cause I always love having a full refrigerator and pantry. It's one of those security things I think. It's just always been important to me to have something good to eat for people when they come over. I want to have a variety of foods and drinks to offer.
So there you go. One more little something about me you now know :o)

I agree! It can be very tempting to buy a lot of things at Costco! However, I am proud to say that I often go in for WATER and only leave with water! It takes a lot of willpower...but I CAN do it! ;)
Now that I have a home and a family I can understand what you are talking about. I haven't been able to go to the grocery store in almost two weeks...needless to say we're running out of meals. Hopefully I'll find time to do it, I just hate fighting in lines at walmart (every other store it too expensive) and by the time I get off work I just want to be lazy. If you were here I'd LET you be my personal shopper and go grocery shopping for me. I typically don't mind it, but when you've been walking through walmart for over an hour you're usually ready to take a seat. They ought to have rest stops there with drinks and couches for all the wonderful shoppers who spend way too much time and money there anyway. I am rambling now... have a wonderful day! LOVE YA!
Your post today made me laugh because I just posted about how I hate to grocery shop :) But, Costco is one of my favorite places to eat. I could go for a Costco hotdog and soda any day!
I can't believe you posted about Costco! I spent 4 years of my life in one and Tommy is still a manager there! I don't think i'll ever get away from it (although who really wants to with all of the fun stuff they sell). Hope you're doing well!
